When creating a marketing campaign, there is the option of determining whether or not multiple targeting is allowes and a protection period applies. Once you have clicked on ‘New campaign’, the first creation page is displayed :

MULTIPLE TARGETING

In the "Client Callback" section, you can tick the box to allow multiple targeting.

This means that the same customer can be added several times to the same marketing campaign. For example, if the campaign targets all customers who have bought a new vehicle, they will be targeted several times if they have bought more than one (depending on the protection period chosen).

If this box is not ticked, a contact can only be targeted once in a campaign.

PROTECTION PERIOD

If this "multiple targeting" box is ticked, you can choose to either :

    - Apply a protection period

    - Allow multiple targeting without protection period.

The protection period is the number of days during which the contact will not be added to the campaign (7 days by default, but this period can be modified). In this case, the same customer can be called every 7 days

If no period is added, the same customer can be added to the campaign (and therefore processed) as many times as they have been targeted.
