Some vehicles (e.g. equipment, motorcycles, tractors) must not appear in inventories. 

The following settings allow them to be automatically excluded in order to ensure consistency and reliability of reports.

 

Settings


Go to the PRODUCTS module.

 

Select the required configuration level:

  • Brand
  • Model
  • Version

 

At the end of the corresponding line (brand, model, or version), click on Actions and select Exclude from Inventory.

 


A modal window appears to remind you of the impacts related to this action. Confirm by selecting Yes.

 



Viewing Exempted Vehicles


Products excluded from inventory still appear in the product catalog (box checked by default).

A specific symbol indicates that the brand, model, or version is exempt from inventory.

 



During Inventory


  • If an exempt vehicle is not scanned, it does not appear as “Missing” or “Not scanned.”
  • If an exempt vehicle is scanned, it is still counted in the inventory but identified as excluded.

 


Note: Only users with the privilege “Exclude / re-integrate products into inventory" within Products & Catalog rights can mark a brand, model, or version as exempt from inventory.
